About the role –

The Security Supervisor is responsible for delivering the highest standards of both customer and security services in a dynamic work environment. We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Security Supervisor. This security site operation requires a strong supervisor with drive and passion for security management, to take full responsibility and control of day-to-day security services. Managing a diverse team of security officers, you will possess strong communication and management skills to ensure the smooth running of security services. Ideally you are a personable individual who is proactive, action orientated, resourceful and honest with a strong work ethic.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Planning, organising, directing and controlling the activities of all security guards, including shift supervisors to achieve contract requirements for safety and security
Supervision, training, briefing, counselling and management of staff to ensure compliance with all related policies, procedures, legal obligations and WHS regulations.
Ensuring on-site Security Manual and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are maintained and communicated to security staff.
Preparation of a variety of security related records to comply with internal and external reporting requirements.
Conduct audits of security management activities including random audits of guards across shifts
Develop, document and implement training programs to ensure all staff have attended training sessions as required by the contract
Participate in workplace safety arrangements
Report any OHS&E hazards or incidents identified in the workplace

You can comprehend, analyse and interpret operational documents
You can establish and review incident reports, emergency event summaries, root cause analysis reports and O&M manuals
You have the ability to develop policies and procedures
You are skilled in financial literacy
You are proficient in computer systems, ideally with experience in CCTV systems
Requirements
2+ years of experience in a supervisory role, ideally in a security or operations environment
Can work morning, afternoon, evening and night shifts
First Aid Certificate
NSW Security License (essential)
Can commute to the Chatswood area
