We are seeking Security Officer's for a prestigious client in Eastern Creek for a range of shifts with various days/ times.
Job Description
As the site security officer, the main aspects of the role include:
Liaising with the client on day to day issues, escalating and timely reporting of higher level issues to the next level of management (Security Supervisor S1).
Compliance with Site Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
Following a safety focused culture and ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, Personal Protective Equipment, and site safety protocols.
Undertaking security patrols of the campus
Work as directed in performing the role of a Security Officer as required.
Liaise with and assist Facility Management as required.
Prepare incident reports in line with the established incident reporting protocols.
Assisting in coordinating electronic security audits of Cameras, Duress alarms, PA systems and other.
Follow lock up procedures of the campus in unlocking and locking down the campus electronically and physically.
Selection Criteria
Security experience highly desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with client representatives and staff.
Demonstrated conflict resolution skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Safety focused with the ability to influence a safety culture.
Sound Computer Skills with the ability to effectively use Microsoft Office.
Sound understanding of Diversity principals.
Minimum Cert 2 in Security Operations and NSW Security License minimum 1 ACE
Excellent attention to details in following SOPs and Company Policies and Procedures.
High level presentation required at all times.
